In 1934, Bro. Elmo M. Anderson called for the reconstruction of the social order while fighting against anti-lynching practices. Today, Social Action is the heartbeat of our beloved fraternity, and we continue to honor our dear Bro. Anderson through meaningful and measurable activities.
Our communities need strong leadership with a clear, BOLD vision and message from our great fraternity. We continue to be the voice for the voiceless and work in the communities we serve to drive the most impact. We also ensure that we have a lens of equity when it comes to the partnerships we have established.

Our program is segmented into four focus areas that guide every initiative, partnership, and event.
Brotherhood for Justice Reform
Advocating for equitable justice, criminal-record relief, and systemic reform that protects and empowers our communities.
Healthy Communities
Promoting physical, mental, and emotional wellness through health screenings, fitness challenges, and disease-awareness programming.
Safe Communities
Building safer neighborhoods through anti-trafficking awareness, self-defense education, and community engagement initiatives.
Voting Empowerment
Registering, educating, and mobilizing voters to ensure every voice is heard at every level of government.

Sigma PAC 1914, Inc.
A general-purpose political action committee supporting candidates who share our social, civic, business, and political interests.
Sigma PAC 1914, Inc. (the "PAC") is a general-purpose political action committee, organized and administered under the provisions of the New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation Act, NJSA 15A:11 et seq., as amended and supplemented. The PAC is established to support candidates who support the PAC's social, civic, business, and political interests.
The PAC intends to make contributions and support candidates seeking elected office on all levels of government who are strategically and intentionally focused on solutions to complex public policy problems, including but not limited to: enhanced gun control/gun rights legislation, improving public education, expanding economic development opportunities for Blacks and other people and communities of color, promoting equality for all, promoting healthcare, improved public transportation, and helping to provide hope of an American dream where all people are on a level playing field.
The purpose of the PAC is also to educate the respective communities of current candidates running for office, support candidates through political advocacy and community support programs, and hold candidates accountable to serve on all levels faithfully. The PAC believes that education is the primary focus of its purpose because individuals cannot be motivated to take action without knowing what is important to them and who wants to represent them.
The PAC shall promote candidates that the PAC believes will positively impact all Americans, particularly Blacks and communities of color. The PAC understands that to make significant progress, it must work actively to identify, select, and support leaders representing the PAC's interests.
